Founded in 1957, Bangkok Patana School is located in Soi Lasalle, Bangna, in the southeast corner of Bangkok. It provides learning for more than 2,200 students ages 2–18 from around 65 countries. Considered Thailand's original British international school, it follows the British national curriculum up to year 11 and the International Baccalaureate (IB) in years 12 and 13. Bangkok Patana School is an IB World School. It is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

The Primary School at Bangkok Patana School provides a dynamic learning environment full of energy, enthusiasm, and creativity. The British-based approach to education instills a love of learning that can be seen in all areas of work and play.

Students enter the Secondary School for grades 7–9 (collectively referred to as Key Stage 3) following a course of study that provides a broad and balanced range of learning experiences. The content of the National Curriculum is modified to take into account the school's location in Southeast Asia, but the basic skills and concepts remain the same.

Students in grades 10–11 follow a two-year program leading to the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) or its international equivalent, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). The subjects available to Key Stage 4 students have been selected with the intention of providing a broad and balanced curriculum that provides an excellent foundation for the Senior Studies program.

In Senior Studies (grades 12–13), students follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. This course of study offers students the opportunity to study the highly acclaimed IB Diploma Program or individual IB certificates, which are widely recognized throughout the world as an entrance qualification for universities and colleges of higher education.

Facilities at the school include a sports hall, tennis courts, grassy fields, cafeterias, noodle bar, dance and drama academy, swimming pools, playgrounds, nursery, arts center, squash courts, science center, sports complex pavilion, libraries, and basketball courts. 

Bangkok Patana School is a not-for-profit organization, so it does not have shareholders. The Bangkok Patana School Foundation Board members, committee and sub-committee members, and management ensure the organization is maintained and protected now and in the future. The board consists of people with a balance of skills and expertise as well as good relationships within the local community. They oversee the school’s operations and continued development in line with the school’s guiding statements. In addition, to ensure that the foundation is able to own land, at least 51 percent of board members are of Thai nationality.

Sub-committee members must be current parents and have the relevant skills needed to serve on their respective committee. The board, committee, and sub-committee members are volunteers who do not receive any compensation for their work.

Garden International School is located in the heart of Bangkok's Sathorn district, near many of the major embassies. The school follows the National Curriculum for England and Wales for children age 2 to age 14 (Year 9). For Years 10 and 11, the school follows the Cambridge IGCSE course, after which the pupils take the IGCSE exams.

Harrow International School Bangkok belongs to the Harrow Family of Schools (which also comprises Harrow School, John Lyon School, Harrow International School Beijing, and Harrow International School Hong Kong). Teaching is based on the National Curriculum for England, and pupils sit GCSEs and A levels, which facilitate progression into leading universities. Harrow International School Bangkok is located in North Bangkok, close to Don Muang International Airport.

In the Early Years Centre the curriculum is based on the UK Early Years Foundation Stage which enables children to learn through a variety of activities. In Pre-Prep and Prep Schools (Years 1 to 8), the curriculum at Harrow Bangkok is based on the National Curriculum of England with a strong emphasis on the development of the core skills of English (Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing) Mathematics Information Technologies Social Skills as well as acquisition of core knowledge. The children experience a range of subjects taught by the class teacher or by specialist teachers according to age group and subject. Subjects include English, Mathematics, Information Communication Technology (ICT), History, Geography, Art, Music, Physical Education (PE), Thai Studies and Personal Health and Social Education (PHSE). Modern Foreign Languages (MFL), including French, Japanese, Korean and Mandarin, are introduced in the Infant Phase. Students in Years 10 and 11 study International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) courses, with the final examinations being taken after two years. Many top Independent Schools in the UK study IGCSEs as they are seen as rigorous and an excellent preparation for A Level and university life. At Harrow Bangkok all students must study English and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, as well as a Modern Foreign Language and options from the Sciences, Humanities and the Arts. Students are expected to study at least eight examination IGCSE subjects. Some IGCSE courses commence in Y9 for more able students. At age 16 students move into the Sixth Form and begin a two year course studying A Levels; up to 5 subjects are studied in Year 12 and are examined at ‘AS’ level at the end of the year. In Year 13 most students opt to continue to study three of these subjects, which are examined at ‘A2’ level at the end of the year. The final A Level grade reflects performance at both AS and A2 level, although the top grades require a very high level of performance in A2. Universities around the world use A Level performance as the basis for offers for places. A Levels are rigorous and challenging, so students are encouraged to pursue subjects they enjoy and to study them in their own right and not merely as a means of gaining entry to university.

Programs of study are designed to reflect the fact that the school has 34 different nationalities represented in its student body. 

Harrow Bangkok operates on a spacious and green 35-acre campus beside a picturesque lake, with separate air conditioned buildings housing the Early Years Centre, the Pre Prep School, Prep School and Upper School (accounting for the Senior School (Years 9 to 11) and Sixth Form). Other specialist buildings accommodate Boarding, the Science faculty, the Art faculty, the Physical Education Department, the Library, the Dining Hall and the Assembly Hall. Specialist Performing Arts facilities are located within the main buildings. Staff accommodation and the Head Master’s residence are also located on site. Sporting facilities include a large air-conditioned sports hall, a gymnastics hall, extensive fields with natural grass surfaces, a swimming pool, a fitness room, a climbing (bouldering) wall and six recently refurbished flood lit tennis courts. Harrow Bangkok has its own lake, used for a variety of water sports and activities, including sailing, kayaking, wake boarding and water skiing, dragon boat racing, adventure races and raft challenges. Included in the garden campus are imaginative and safe play areas for the younger pupils and a number of presentation and performance spaces within each phase of the school.

International School Bangkok (ISB) is an independent, coeducational, nonprofit day school, which was founded in 1951. ISM offers an educational program for children ages 4 to 18 (prekindergarten to grade 12). The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma is offered in grades 11 and 12 along with Advanced Placement (AP) exams. Instruction is in English.

The curriculum is based on North American standards and international best practices. Instruction is in English, with the school using a child-centered approach. Students have extensive learning opportunities in the fine and performing arts, athletics, technology, and community service programs. There are also programs for student with mild learning disabilities. The school is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and chartered by the Thailand Ministry of Education.

Approximately 98 percent of graduates attend universities. In the 2013-2014 school year, there were 241 faculty members, including 125 US citizens, 14 host-country nationals, and 102 third-country nationals. All teachers at ISB are certified and average eight years of experience at ISB, with approximately 85 percent holding advanced degrees. At the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year, enrollment was 1,952 (prekindergarten to grade 12). Of the total, there were 684 US citizens, 403 host-country nationals, and 865 third-country nationals. Of the US enrollment, 226 were dependents of US government direct-hire or contract employees, and 458 were dependents of other private US citizens. In the 2013-2014 school year, the school's income was derived from tuition. Annual tuition rates were $13,981 for prekindergarten, $21,403 for kindergarten to grade 5, $24,110 for grades 6 to 8, and $25,275 for grades 9 to 12. A one-time registration fee of approximately $7,552 is also charged. (All fees are quoted in US dollar equivalents of Thai baht.)

The school year extends from approximately mid-August to early June and is divided into two semester. A summer program is also offered.

KIS International School has an academically challenging international curriculum and a well-rounded program of sports, creativity, and community service. Founded in 1992, NIST International School is situated in central Bangkok near Asoke, one of Bangkok's foremost business, diplomatic, residential, and shopping areas. NIST is an accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) World School that offers all three IB programs: Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP), and Diploma Program (DP). NIST was the first school in Thailand to achieve dual accreditation from both the Council of International Schools (CIS) and New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

In addition to IB courses, NIST also offers high school courses. All of the courses available can be taken in conjunction with IB courses in areas of strength or interest and provide a grade point average equivalence used for college or university acceptance. These courses are open to all year 12 and year 13 students. The courses are designed with US National Standards. The progress of students in all year levels is internally assessed against published criteria. Parents are kept informed of progress through reports, parent/teacher conferences, and informational evenings. To prepare students for an increasingly globalized world, NIST offers courses in Thai, Japanese, Mandarin, Hindi, German, Korean, and English as mother tongue languages, as well as offering French, Mandarin, and Spanish as second languages.

Nestled in the heart of one of Bangkok’s busiest business districts, NIST International School is located on Sukhumvit Soi 15, mere minutes from Asok BTS Station and Terminal 21. The campus has 10 buildings that house more than 90 classrooms and state-of-the-art facilities. In addition to an early years center, elementary building, and secondary building, the campus includes a creative arts building, sports complex, and several multi-purpose halls. As one of the only not-for-profit schools in the Bangkok international school community, NIST is overseen by the NIST International School Foundation, represented by members who are both elected by parents and appointed. The majority of the members of the foundation must be parents or guardians of children who attend NIST, and thus represent the interests of the entire community through their governance.

Elected by their peers on the NIST Foundation Board, the NIST Executive School Board oversees the school on its behalf. Through their work they support the school’s mission and vision, maintain financial oversight, and contribute to the community’s strategic direction. In addition to oversight of the school’s operations, together with NIST Foundation members, the board forms committees to support particular areas.

With a handful of expatriate parishioners and local Thai students, the Redemptorist priests opened Ruamrudee International School (RIS) in 1957 with the intention of providing students with a quality Western education. The school is still led by the Redemptorist Fathers of Thailand. It serves students from age 3 to grade 12 and offers a modified American curriculum with instruction in English. Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses are offered. Boarding is available.

Ruamrudee International School’s core curriculum is designed for consistency from kindergarten through grade 12. It is based on the American Education Reaches Out (AERO) standards, including NGSS for science, NCAS for the arts, SHAPE standards for physical education, and ACTFL standards for languages.

From preschool through grade 10 the curriculum is based on the best international practices utilizing well known standards and benchmarks. In grades 11 and 12 students are encouraged to enroll in Advanced Placement (AP) and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) full diploma courses based on which classes best support them and their future goals. All RIS students participate in a unique series of values classes that focus on analyzing philosophies, cultures, religions, and the traditions of global societies, as well as encouraging the need to engage in community service activities.  

Located in an eastern suburb of Bangkok, the 29-acre RIS Minburi campus is less than half an hour from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and is supported by a thriving community. The campus includes separate buildings for each section, an artificial turf, Olympic FINA-standard pool, multiple courts, cafeteria, and two libraries. State-of-the-art facilities include 21st-century learning spaces, a recording studio, culinary arts center, makerspaces, and robotics lab. Ruamrudee International School (RIS) is led by a school director, head of school, and senior advisor to the RIS Leadership Team. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Thai Ministry of Education.

Founded in 2003, Shrewsbury International School is an international, coeducational day school for ages 3–18. Students hail from more than 35 countries, including Thailand, the United Kingdom, United States, India, and Australia. The school seeks to recruit the finest teachers and provide them with the resources to nurture outstanding students. Admission is selective and requires an exam and interview. Instruction is in English, and languages taught include Thai, Japanese, Spanish, French, and Mandarin.

Shrewsbury's curriculum is based around the English National Curriculum, adapted to meet the needs of its students and international context. The English National Curriculum provides a structured learning journey. The Early Years Foundation stage (age 3) is followed by a sequence of five Key Stages, culminating in the advanced A-level program (ages 16–18). By the time students graduate from Shrewsbury Bangkok, they are equipped with the skills, specialist knowledge, and qualifications they need to enter leading universities and colleges around the world.

The facilities at Shrewsbury International School include classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards, a library, 580-seat auditorium, 130-seat music recital hall, music studios and private practice rooms, technology center, three sports fields, running track, two sports halls, gymnastics hall, yoga studio, spin bike room, three tennis courts, four squash courts, swimming pools, dance studio, climbing wall, playgrounds, cafe, and 700-seat cafeteria.

The operation of Shrewsbury International School Bangkok is overseen by a Board of Governors which advises the principal on the full breadth of the school program. This advisory board meets three times a year and brings together a wide range of local, regional, and international experience in education, legal matters, finance, child protection, and safety. Two governors of Shrewsbury School UK sit on the advisory board, bringing their experience of school governorship in the UK context and ensuring that the school fully complies with the terms of the licensing arrangements.

The school's Executive Committee meets monthly and is chaired by the school proprietor. In this forum, representatives of the Board of Governors and the school’s Senior Management Team meet to ensure that the school’s operation is safe and secure and aligned with the priorities established in its development plan. The committee has a role in setting short-, medium-, and long-term financial plans including the operational and capital development budgets.

The American School of Bangkok (ASB) was founded in 1983 as the Didyasarin International Kindergarten, named for its founder. Repeated parental requests encouraged the school to expand to a full international school in 1995. It was renamed the American School of Bangkok in 2000 to reflect the fact that an American curriculum was adopted at that time. Today the school serves students from more than 30 nationalities, in preschool through grade 12. Boarding is available. 

The American School of Bangkok (ASB) offers an American curriculum with a dynamic international perspective. The school's learning methodologies are based on the best practices of American and international pedagogy providing a broad and balanced education with the required specialization and experiences in later years. Students are challenged daily with a comprehensive variety of core academic courses typically found in a rigorous American curriculum, including social studies, science, math, and language arts. ASB offers a wide selection of elective courses, including entrepreneurship, business, marketing, foreign languages, music, art, drama, IT, design technology, and more. Technology is heavily integrated into all courses, adding a modern and cutting-edge educational dimension to the ASB learning experience. These centers encourage students to become self-directed and independent learners. High school students may also enroll in the Advanced Placement (AP) Program. 

The ASB has two campuses: Green Valley Campus in Bangna and Sukhumvit Campus. Each campus has spacious classrooms fitted with modern facilities. The science labs are professionally set up and learners who love the sciences will experience top of the range facilities as they carry out experiments. There also are computer labs, music studios, basketball courts, a soccer field, gymnasium, and even a pitch and putt practice golf course (at Green Valley Campus). There are boarding facilities at the Green Valley Campus.

 The ASB is accredited by the Thai Ministry of Education and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
